The primary location for this job is the Keller Lake campus at 2499 Forest Hill Ave SE in our Memory Care Assisted Living building. The wage for this position starts at $16 per hour.

Essential Job Duties:

• Develops positive relationships with residents, staff, and families.
• Plans and implements one on one and group activity programming to meet each resident' preferences and interests as indicated on the residents' care or service plan.
• Along with the Life Enrichment Specialist, completes activity calendars in a timely manner that offers a variety of programming to meet resident interests and abilities.
• Provides accurate and timely documentation of resident participation in various Life Enrichment Programming.
• Participates in and promotes activities with the Montessori Program.
• Provides Activity/Dementia education and support to residents, families, and staff.
• Provides excellent person-centered living and dementia care through non-pharmacological interventions based on thorough knowledge of the residents.
• Is an advocate for the well-being of each resident they work with.
• Provides opportunities for residents to use technology.
• Identifies and communicates changes and needs of residents to be addressed by the interdisciplinary team.
• Assists in caring planning, care conferences and family meetings as needed.
• Participates as an interdisciplinary team member in their assigned areas.
• Provides weekend/evening support and Life Enrichment Programs.
• Compliant with infection control protocols.
• Assist with tasks as assigned by the Life Enrichment Specialist for resident or family support.
