The Field Service Project Manager will work closely with the iGAM field service team(s) to lead the removal of industrial equipment at various customer sites. The right candidate will be able to manage schedules, scope of work, contractors and materials that need to be organized for each project. The iGAM on-site team will consist of personnel with various skill sets and experience levels who will be looking for direction from this Project Manager. This role may require long consecutive days onsite, as well as management of project details prior to a job starting. This position requires onsite supervision at various customer facilities for the duration of projects.




ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Work with iGAM Management team to develop internal team and outside contractors to assist in satisfying customer scope and equipment removal & logistics
  • Develop standard work instructions for various customer site projects, such as due care decommissioning, tear out, and machinery relocation
  • Scheduling personnel based on timeline to complete job to customers required timing
  • Coordinate required equipment to complete the project, including all tools, rigging equipment, rental lift trucks, manlifts and any other required rental equipment to complete the project
  • Understand and clearly communicate customer safety requirements to iGAM team, and maintain periodic safety check-ins (safety meetings, first aid training, work shadowing) with customer and team
  • Manage customer required certifications, paperwork or permits (ISN compliance, hot work, etc.).
  • Monitoring that all iGAM team members & contractors on-site are following all customer safety and OHSHA requirements
  • Coordinating with plant team for any required shutdowns of services: power, air, gas, to ensure safe removal
  • Supervise team onsite to segregate equipment that is identified for resale for shipment to iGAM
  • Coordinating onsite scrap removal schedule
  • Manage ordering of proper truck types and quantities for shipping surplus equipment offsite, and communicating shipping schedule and requirements to teams on and offsite
  • Ensure all trucks and containers shipping outbound from customer site are loaded for safety and all equipment is properly secure
  • Oversee and communicate any scope or resource changes while on job to iGAM management team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Journeyman trade license - millwright preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience managing various Journeyman trades with general labor helpers
  • Thorough knowledge of working OHSHA requirements for trades people working in industrial settings


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

  • Experience leading a multi-discipline technical team on field service projects
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with both customers and internal team
  • Ability to travel extensively, as required
  • Flexible and dynamic problem solver
  • Willingness to learn project quoting and estimating
  • Experience with installation or disassembly of industrial equipment
  • Functional knowledge of lift trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and manlifts

  • Must be able to travel regularly throughout Us and stay on job sites for extended periods of time




Compensation details: 35-45 Hourly Wage
