Job description

Job Title: Specialist, Industrial Security (CPSO) TSSCI Job Code: 15744 Job Location: Wilmington, MA Job Description: Commensurate with the position of Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), incumbent is responsible for managing and directing security related issues for the assigned SAPF/SCIF. The CPSO's responsibilities include management and execution of security functions including SAPF/SCIF operations, program support, information security and a focus on PERSEC and PHYSEC. The CPSO implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on DoD SAP Manuals, 32 CFR Part 117, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other governing directives, as applicable. Exhibits the dedication and expectation of excellence required of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. The CPSO works as a team player, exhibits flexibility, sets priorities, and manages customer expectations in a sometimes fast-paced environment. The CPSO interacts with internal and external customers as well as Government security officials in performance of security duties. The incumbent is responsible for supporting and enacting all L3Harris corporate policies including the protection of L3Harris' intellectual property. Essential Functions: Maintain security program policies to ensure ongoing compliance with 32 CFR Part 117, IC, DoD SAP Manuals, and other requirements of all classified programs under purview.
Prepare Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlining customer guidelines and establishing procedures for the handling, storage, and transportation of assigned assets.
Conduct all security related employee briefings to include indoctrination, debriefing, courier, closed area, program access, CUI, OPSEC, Insider Threat, derivative classification, foreign travel, and routine annual security trainings.
Prepare and maintain Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) in accordance with ICD 705. Implement DD-254 Security Guidance and ensure program compliance with contractual requirements.
Analyze and investigate security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports.
Conduct annual self-inspections.
Physical security duties include, but are not limited to, maintain and change combinations, access control systems, alarm accesses, secure area modifications and buildouts.
Maintain PERSEC databases including JADE and SIMS. Proficient in the use of DISS, JADE and SIMS Qualifications: • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance • Requires proficient knowledge of job area. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: • Knowledge and willingness to perform COMSEC duties
