High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
5 years of experience in aerospace
Familiarity with common measuring devices - Caliper, Radius Gages, Micrometers, Optical comparator, Deltronic pins, Vision System
Good data entry/computer skills,
MS Office, Outlook, Word
Nice to Haves:
Associate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Experience in inspecting to specific standards like IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum and/or NASA 8739.4 are preferred but not required. Familiarity with GD&T is also desired.
Job Description:
We require a mechanical inspector to work in our receiving inspection department.
The candidate should be experienced in reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and proficient in using common measuring devices like calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators. The candidate will also be required to enter inspection data into our inspection database. Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to sit for extended periods.
