Position Summary Odyssey Systems is looking for an Executive Director, Strategic Engagement to stand up a new integration function within the organization intended to formally establish and manage Odyssey's customer and partner engagement practices. The role will advise the company's operational and growth teams on relationship management best practices and integrate within and across the operational and growth functions to provide added value to our diverse customer base. The role will assist with identifying cross-cutting customer priorities and challenges and aligning Odyssey's management teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality management approach. Additionally, the role will create best practices for partner company engagement and assist with management of strategic partnerships. Ideally, this role is located at one of our major operating locations: Wakefield, MA; Lincoln, MA; Dayton, OH; Colorado Springs, CO; or Huntsville, AL. The role will require travel to visit with customer partners, collaborate with Odyssey leadership, and attend industry events. This is a rewarding executive-level position focused on a critical company priority. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: In collaboration with Odyssey's leadership team, establish and manage Odyssey's customer and strategic partner engagement practices. Advise Odyssey management team on relationship best practices Provide value added advise to Odyssey leadership on complex customer and partner topics Facilitate information sharing and dot-connecting within and across operational and growth functions to generate additional value for customers Build and improve customer intimacy Collaborate with Operations and Growth leadership to build stronger relationships with current and future customers Become the connective tissue between operational groups, the Odyssey technical center, and growth functions with regard to customer relationships Ensure a consistent management approach to establish and maintain long lasting, strong customer relationships Ensure a consistent management approach to building and maintaining long lasting, strong partner relationships with strategic partner companies. Advise on, contribute to, and participate in customer meetings, industry events, program management reviews, self-assessments, responses on special topics and other customer and partner engagement items. Qualifications Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Secret Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline Years of Experience: At least 15 years of experience in DoD contracting, project/program management or directly related experience Preferred Qualifications Education: Master's degree in business or another relevant field Technical Skills Proven successful customer management techniques Proven ability to work with cross functional teams to implement best practices. In depth knowledge of the intricacies of DoD contract project management, and new business development. Proven ability to solve complex problems with customers.
