Tax Senior - Individual & Corporate Tax
Location: Wakefield, MA
Pay: $75,000 - $100,000
Schedule: Full-time

Our client, a growing CPA firm located in Wakefield, MA, is seeking a Tax Senior to join their dynamic team. The firm serves a diverse clientele, from large publicly held corporations to closely held businesses across various industries. This position is ideal for entrepreneurial, personable, and technically talented individuals with 4-6 years of accounting experience who are looking to fast-track their careers in a progressive and growth-oriented environment.

What you get to do:

• Individual Tax:
  • Prepare and perform detailed reviews of complex individual income tax returns.
  • Conduct tax planning for individual clients and calculate required estimated tax payments.
• Corporate Tax:
  • Prepare tax returns for Corporate ("C" and "S" corporations) and Partnerships.
  • Perform trial balance account reconciliations and adjustments for corporate clients.
  • Convert trial balances from accrual basis to cash basis.
• Collaborate with management to perform additional duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• CPA or CPA candidate (local equivalent) preferred.
• 4+ years of U.S. tax experience in a CPA firm environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and ProSystem fx Tax.
