Tax/Audit Manager (Potential Partnership Track)

Location: Middlesex County, MA

We are seeking a skilled Tax/Audit Manager to join our dynamic team, offering a potential partnership track. This role requires a CPA with over 10 years of experience in public accounting and a balanced focus on tax and audit (50% audit, 50% tax).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns and audit workpapers, while effectively communicating with clients.
• Serve as a generalist with experience in Employee Benefit Plans and Non-profits.
• Supervise and train 1-2 staff members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• CPA required.
• 10 years of experience in public accounting.
• Experience with partner-track responsibilities in a smaller-sized firm.
• Expertise in tax and audit (50% audit, 50% tax).
• Client-facing with strong communication skills.
• Management experience, able to supervise and train staff.
• Familiarity with UltraTax and CaseWare preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $100k-$140k DOE
• Benefits include health insurance and a 401k with a 3% match.

Job Type: Full-time

License/Certification: CPA License (required)
