Looking for a Project Manager to join our reputable client! They are a single-source GC providing services including design-build, preconstruction, construction management and general contracting. They work on both ground up and renovation projects, including occupied renovations up to $55M.

Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Budget Management: Establish and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints. Negotiate contracts and manage change orders effectively.
  • Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met on time. Address delays and adjust plans to keep projects on track.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment, ensuring project resources are available at each phase. Manage subcontractors and coordinate their work.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively solve problems and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the project team, fostering collaboration and clear communication. Resolve conflicts and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Safety Management: Ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site, conduct safety meetings, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Project Closeout: Oversee the final stages of the project, including punch list completion, final inspections, and turnover to the client. Ensure all project documentation is completed and the project is delivered successfully.

Profile

The Successful Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction.
  • Multifamily or Commercial/Retail project experience. More ground up and large project experience the better
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (Procore needed)
