The Wingbrace Digital Engineering Team is charged with identifying, developing, and applying new technologies that can address the Government's most challenging software and systems engineering problems. Wingbrace is growing again We are looking for an additional Systems administrator to join our team. Wingbrace is profitable. We offer 3 weeks' Vacation, Sick time, Health, Dental and Vision. This opportunity will be client facing, and collaborative with a lot of growth. You will present to the highest levels of the division and be asked your opinion. You will work with an experienced team who will mentor, coach, and share best practices. Day to day responsibilities As a Systems Administrator, you will have the opportunity to leverage and grow your engineering expertise by: Developing, running tests on, implements or maintains operating system and related software. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoots and/or resolves software, operating system, and networking problems. Schedules, performs and/or monitors system backups and/or, when necessary, performs data recoveries. Skills/Education/Certification Required: Have a minimum Secret US DoD clearance. Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), or other related scientific or technical discipline and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Master's and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or Juris Doctor (JD) and two (2) years or more of related experience 8+ years of experience with IT Systems, and Cloud Environments such as Azure and or AWS Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems and command line required Demonstrated proficiency and strength in verbal, written, presentation, and communications skills for developing and delivering technical presentations Referenceable project-based experience in a team environment Competent in subject matter and concepts and may lead individuals to assist in the work Have a Cybersecurity certification such as: CompTIA Security +, or CompTIA Network+ Apply at Wingbrace LLC is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or another protected characteristic.
