PCB Design Engineer with Security Clearance

Job description

The Fabrication Engineering Group requires a Senior level PCB Designer with strong electronics printed circuit board design, library creation and documentation experience. The candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills, and exemplary team skills as these responsibilities will be accomplished directly or through influence of other organizations such as engineering and design. Will need to be able to take the designs from initial schematic thru final manufacturing output so a knowledge of the PCB Fabrication and Assembly process is important. -Prior experience in aerospace and/or national laboratory environment is needed.
-Expert experience with the latest Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition versions along with experience with the Altium CAD software are required skills.
-Also important to be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task.
Qualifications (Security Clearance Level, etc) & Place of Performance:
-Strong PCB design skills
-Current experience with the Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition software (including CES) along with experience with the Altium CAD software are required skills.
-Also need to be experienced with Draftsight for drawing creation.
-Knowledge of the VALOR software for DFM is a plus. Skills:
-Experience w/High Speed, Multi-Layer, Digital, Analog, RF, Flex, Controlled Impedance, Diff. Pairs or Mixed Signal, (BGA's, CCGA's, Micro-Vias, Buried Resistors,).
-A complete understanding of the library creation and management process is required.
-Experience in the generation of all Fabrication and Assembly output data (ODB and /or Gerbers), Fab Drawings (including panel drawings), Assembly Drawings, Pick and Place data, etc.). Other
-Interview process: Phone screen ; second round Zoom
-Candidate should have Secret Clearance from first day of employment due to the nature of the work.
-This position will be hybrid; the candidate can work predominantly remote, but would be expected to be onsite 2 days/wk and as needed for meetings. Candidate should be local to MA or to have relocated to MA for the start of the project.
