For more information about Draper, visit . Job Description Summary: The Travel Expense Assistant will provide full-cycle support associated with employee travel requests and expense reimbursement. Interact with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to ensure compliance with Draper's Travel policy and related procedures. Work closely with Finance to drive efficiency and cost savings through analytics, reporting, auditing, and training. Assist in keeping all department functions and processes aligned with standard accounting practices and internal controls. Work to add value to the organization through vendor negotiations, best practices, and compliance. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities • Administer Concur Expense (T&E) Module including daily processing and auditing of expense reports to ensure compliance within the monthly close cycle, provide ongoing support and training to all employees, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Understanding of Concur Travel functionality and Draper employee travel policy while working with external partners to ensure the overall client travel experience exceeds expectations.
• Develop and maintain a monthly report on travel usage and compliance. Prepare quarterly and annual metrics for analysis.
• Manages all aspects of Purchase Card program: includes issuing new cards, all on line maintenance of accounts, analyzes all requests for exceptions, reviews transaction for adherence to policy, looks up all projects for allocation of charges, provides training to new card holders and leads refresher training sessions.
• Communicate effectively and alert team members and supervision if deadlines are in jeopardy.
• Maintain high ethical and quality standards, correct your own errors, and regularly produce accurate, thorough, professional work.
• Monthly accounting responsibilities including the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries.
• Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical skills required
• Ability to analyze and process Excel spreadsheets

High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree in Accounting preferred. Experience
5-7 years of progressively responsible work experience in customer facing roles.
