For more information about Draper, visit . Job Description Summary: The Director of Security is responsible for the corporate wide shared services and operations. Primary responsibilities are to ensure compliance with 32 Code Federal Regulation Part 117 as required by the National Industry Security Program (NISP) performing on National Security initiatives and execute responsibilities of the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) as the designee. Manages enterprise wide shared services to include, personnel security, document control/mail services, industrial security, security education and awareness and strategic initiatives. The Director will execute corporate and departmental missions, goals and objectives with prescribed priorities, on schedule and within established budgets. Develops, implements and validates established corporate security policies, procedures and programs; performs self inspections, and ensures all aspects of the NISP are compliant and complies with national and company wide policy to include federal, state and local regulations. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities
• Directs all security disciplines as they apply to the NISP with a detailed understanding of the technical aspects while expanding knowledge and understanding of industrial security community policy changes, communicate pertinent changes and implement compliant solutions. • Directs the personnel security functions for collateral and special programs, the visitor services center and document control functions, in addition to, collateral program security. • Directs enterprise wide Security Education and Awareness Committee to drive initiatives and enhance education and training corporate wide
• Directs and drafts internal Standard Operating Procedures and enterprise wide policy and procedures.
• Develops, coordinates, and direct customer service interviews, and corporate wide strategic initiatives. • Directs and leads program security functions for specific lines of business as needed. • Develops, coordinates, delivers, monitors, and evaluates effectiveness of all security training initiatives. • Directs self inspections at all cleared locations, determine root cause of audit findings in close coordination with regional office FSO's, and implement compliant and lasting solutions. • Coordinates and collaborates with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems. • Directs and manages the execution of Draper Security metrics and trends to evaluate effectiveness and workload of the corporate functions. • Directs and manages the processes and procedures for incoming and outgoing classified contracts, statement of work, DD254's and task orders to determine security requirements are adhered to and implemented, and disseminated as required. • Participates in industry peer group conferences, meetings and bring "best in class" solutions to Draper. Skills/Abilities
• Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to work and establish priorities under pressure in a self-directed, multi-tasking, face-paced work environment. • Ability to lead and manage multi-year projects with numerous stakeholders. • Expert knowledge of business software: Excel, Access, MS Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio
• Organized and thorough, handles competing priorities and display flexibility.
• Ability to follow-up and solve problems. • Reliable self-starter who makes sound, well-informed and objective decisions. • Able to operate independently with little supervision in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. • Able to perform local as well as some overnight travel. • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills in a customer service environment. Bachelor's Degree required in Security Management (or related field) or Business, Project Management or Business Analytics required. Master's degree preferred. Experience
7-10 years' experience in a Management role required, including Personnel Security experience in collateral and special programs.
