As Vice President, Human Capital Fidelity Consulting you are responsible for overseeing the delivery of human capital consulting projects across Fidelity s Business units. Our projects aim to solve Fidelity s most critical human capital focused business issues, and your role is highly valued by Fidelity business leaders to drive critical thinking forward. Your thought leadership and business partner and HR relationships will help shape the outcomes of our consulting projects. In addition, your work as an integral member of the Fidelity Consulting ("FC") management team helps to strengthen our group.

As Vice President, you help scope the projects, lead and manage workstreams, and partner with business leaders to drive successful outcomes.

Fidelity Consulting (“FC”) consists of 100 strategy consultants who work with leadership across the Fidelity to shape Fidelity s future by way of critical thinking and independent insights​. Fidelity Consulting addresses strategic challenges and opportunities with thoughtful and rigorous analysis, and by providing provocative points of view. We deliver value in a variety of ways, from leading projects focused on growth and innovation, to human capital consulting to leading enterprise-wide initiatives. As a part of the FC team, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of strategic business challenges ultimately preparing you for increasing leadership roles at Fidelity.



The Expertise You Have

  • You must demonstrate practical subject matter expertise in Human Resources with direct experience in the financial services industry (brokerage, wealth management, investments, etc.).
  • The position requires significant consulting experience with multiple years in the project manager role and experience counseling clients/partners, preferably with a top tier consulting firm.
  • You must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.
  • MBA degree, terminal degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.


The Skills You Bring

  • Experience with project and team management, specifically including organization strategy and design, role design, workforce planning, resource optimization.
  • Ability to synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including organization diagnostic and design, resource optimization, financial impact analysis, operational analysis and primary/secondary research
  • Capable of influencing and providing strategic guidance to senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of researched based conclusions.
  • Ability to bring ideas to increase collaboration between and across business units.
  • Ability to assess risk and operationalize findings turning research into actions
  • Proficient in quantifying challenges and requirements related to execution
  • Driver of decisions in complex environments with multiple partners
  • Adept at leading multiple projects/initiatives at once
  • Skilled in building relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacities
  • A desire to work with people development and mentoring

  • Leading and delivering complex strategic, groundbreaking, and other human capital focused projects
  • Interacting with Fidelity associates at more senior levels, gathering data and input and helping build consensus with key partners
  • Directing various analyses, including organization design, workforce analysis, internal capability assessment, competitor and market trends, primary and secondary research, and financial analysis/modeling
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to senior executives
