Job description

Senior Project Manager strategically supports the Marketing and Communications for one of the largest hospitals in Boston. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic project management within a marketing department. The Project Manager is both an engagement and delivery lead, client facing, and responsible for multiple deliverables.

The Senior Project Manager will support and lead special projects, campaigns, reports and events. PMs will engage with the client to gather information and understand the overall direction of the project requests ranging from inbound requests to strategic hospital and system initiatives. This role will work closely with Community engagement and the Development teams.

Primary focus areas include Marketing Project Management, Event Project Management and Process Improvement.

Lead and manage project development from inception through completion, effectively leading and motivating internal team to produce best in class work

Coordinate and manage client meetings and daily project communication with key contacts

Monitor and track project issues/risks and the impact delivery and help develop strategic solutions to ensure on time, on strategy, accurate project execution

Support department leadership with special projects like campaigns, presentations, etc

Organize and manage the marketing support and execution for 1-2 signature hospital events

Monitor and track event issues/risks and the impacts to marketing strategy and help develop strategic solutions

Implement and maintain processes and workflows to ensure the successful execution of the marketing programs across the department

Effectively utilize data and analytics to report and identify key themes and learnings that can improve projects, campaigns and department processes

Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Suggested Experience

BS Communication, Marketing (or related field)

Project Management Certificate preferred

8+ years of relevant marketing and communications project management experience is required.

Healthcare experience preferred
