Job Description:

The Corporate Treasury Bank Strategy & Technology Services team supports Fidelity Investments holding company, FMR LLC and its private equity and venture capital arm, Devonshire Investments (DI) on banking services including payment technology, internal and external credit facilities, and oversight of FMR s portfolio of minority investments in banks. The position reports to the SVP of Bank Strategy and Technology Services.

The Role

This person will play a key role in assisting the SVP of Bank Strategy and Technology Services provide oversight of the portfolio of Fidelity s minority investments in banks. Responsibilities will expand over time but currently include:

  • Monitoring financial performance
  • Coordinating new product development with relevant groups across FMR
  • Executing launch or implementation of new products
  • Tracking performance of various products launched
  • Ensuring appropriate FMR governance (e.g., Board seats)
  • Creating a forum where our bank portfolio companies could engage with each other to share best practices/ideas
  • Helping develop an infrastructure to address audit and risk findings and to develop adequate controls and policies and procedures
  • Monitoring reliance on bank partners, their exposure to changes in the financial markets and developing contingency plans for extreme financial market conditions

Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience or MBA with 8+ years of experience
  • Excellent research skills the ability to gather and synthesize materials on companies, products, industries and effectively communicate findings
  • Advanced analytical and valuation skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong product management, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Results-oriented, versatile and self-motivated
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team
