A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
  • Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
  • Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
  • Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.

Qualifications:

Must Have

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.

Nice to Have

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and equipment, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with electronic and mechanical assembly techniques.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$57,600.00 - $86,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
