The Operational Excellence Champion will leads initiatives to drive process improvements and enhance overall business performance at our manufacturing facility in Bellingham, MA. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and foster continuous improvement.

Description

The Operational Excellence Champion (Manufacturing) Will:

• Analyze data to identify improvement areas, establish KPIs, and track progress
• Lead Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and continuous improvement events
• Serve as the go-to expert on Lean, OpEx, 6S, Six Sigma, and other methodologies
• Drive process improvements and document cross-functional strategies
• Provide training and lead rapid improvement efforts to enhance productivity
• Manage OpEx projects, track cost savings, and report results

Profile

• Minimum of 4 years in a lean or operational excellence role within manufacturing
• Comfortable spending a majority of the day on the production floor
• Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field (equivalent experience may substitute)
• Lean Six Sigma certified - Black Belt preferred
• 4+ years in process improvement and operational efficiency
• Strong leadership in cross-functional projects
• Familiar with ACE tools (root cause analysis, mistake proofing)
• Local to Bellingham, MA
