An exciting opportunity exists for a college graduate to join our semiconductor foundry team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.
What You Will Do
- Work in a cleanroom environment
- Handle GaAs and GaN wafers
- Assist with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes
- Perform and document optical microscope inspections
- Perform scanning electron microscope imaging
- Failure analysis and Data analysis
- Wafer fabrication techniques such as lithography, deposition and etch processes
- Optical and scanning electron microscope imaging techniques
- Data analysis and trouble-shooting techniques
- Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in one or more of the following: Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry
- Good written and oral communication skills
