We support Government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. Allegient Defense helps clients with challenging Science & Technology, Engineering Acquisition, and Program Management Mission requirements. Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Data and Financial Analysis. Experience & Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in data analytics, financial processes, and budget management, with specific expertise in government-related budget formulation, variance analysis, and forecasting. The SME will have extensive experience coordinating with program offices and managers to compile data for budget justifications, Congressional reports, and responding to inquiries from senior executives, OMB, and Congress. Proven ability in leading teams, developing SOPs, and managing fee structures. Proficient in using data tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Power BI for financial analysis and reporting.
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required. Position Functions: Provide high-level support for budget formulation and execution, developing complex data
models, analyzing historical trends, and supporting variance analysis and forecasting.
Coordinate responses to internal and external inquiries, including those from senior
managers, CFO, OMB, and Congress, regarding budget requests, fiscal year
submissions, and financial obligations.
Develop reports and presentations to explain the status of funds, expenses, and financial
obligations for internal and external stakeholders.
Lead efforts to maintain and update budget databases, ensuring accurate and timely
reporting of financial data.
Provide oversight on financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking,
offering recommendations based on data-driven insights.
