Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an experienced Software Developer with demonstrated experience in leading and directing a team providing operations and maintenance support to deployed suites of application software. Specific Responsibilities Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL).
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Develop specifications and performance requirements.
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
Maintain databases within an application area while working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Research, test, build, and integrate new products and major enhancements.
Requirements Active Secret Clearance
Master's Degree and 10 years experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 14 years experience At least 2 years of the experience must be in developing systems code using C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript.
At least 5 years of the experience must be in development on agile projects consisting of at least 2 teams of 5 people.
Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from ISC2.
Expertise in designing, maintaining, and improving enterprise computing applications.
Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards.
Experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment Normal Office Environment
Travel Up to 10%
