Apogee Engineering is seeking a Program Manager - Acquisition Excellence to support a critical role within the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR SOF) CV-22 Program Integration Team (PIT), located at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, MD, who can align various elements of the program to achieve its objectives efficiently and effectively. What you will be doing: Serve as the Program Manager - Acquisition Excellence for the CV-22 Program Integration Team (PIT). Provide expert-level issue resolution, and programmatic and technical support. Assist with developing the program's strategic budget, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submission, requirements development, and Congressional responses. Assist the Joint Program Office in executing an annual Air Force and USSOCOM budget. Assist with the enhancement of Mission Area Capabilities to include improvement or elimination of gaps within the CV-22 program. Assist with the coordination of Efforts to reduce fragmentation, duplication, and overlap to enhance productivity, achieve cost savings, and facilitate component capabilities across CV-22 and JPO. Assist with technical planning, evaluation, and program management support to meet urgent warfighter needs. Develop solutions to organizational and resource requirements to support the CV-22 program Provide SME-level guidance and expertise to acquisition personnel serving on the program Analyze, plan, and organize CV-22 program activities to include assessments of program management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures Assist in planning, organizing, and presenting assessments of program/project management concepts, and command level presentations which include, but are not limited to, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), studies, status briefings, and PEO reviews. Assist with reviewing and establishing Division policies and guidance Assist with reducing program and operational risks. Support with ad hoc tasks as dictated by the customer Minimum Experience Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance Education: High School Diploma Years of experience: 22 years of experience with 8 supporting the DOD including: Experience within Joint Weapon Systems Acquisition Program Management Development of Risk Management plans and strategies Experience writing, reviewing, and editing acquisition program documentation Experience with the review of engineering change proposals and contract change proposals, participating in fact-finding, and supporting the configuration control board process Preferred Experience: Education and Experience: Master's degree and at least 14 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD OR Bachelor's degree and at least 16 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD Program Element experience Benefits: Apogee offers two medical plans: a high-deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis. The base pay for this position ranges from $130,000.00 to $165,000.00. A different range applies to specific work locations. Base pay is based on several factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, training, and education.
