Job description

Management Analyst, Senior This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance within 120 days after contract award. As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen. Senior expert with extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles. Leads the application of analytic techniques and helps define project objectives and strategic direction. Is responsible for providing leadership and vision to client and project teams around the methodology. Resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles. Directs the activities of more junior Analysts or other staff as necessary on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies. Demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Management Analyst, Senior: $110,000 - $165,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Management Analyst, Senior Responsibilities Include: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Conduct interviews as a method of data collections to determine operational challenges and solutions. Stay abreast of the latest applicable market data and trends. Effectively communicate with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures Maintains contact with other functional managers and suppliers, concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications. Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties. Delivers status presentations to customers and leaders as needed, keeping them informed of delivery and/or production schedules. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Management Analyst, Senior Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: BS or BA degree. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS. At least five (5) years of experience as an analyst of which at least 3 years must be specialized in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the five (5) years, there must be three (3) years professional experience supporting NAVAIR programs or offices. Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to management, operations and life-cycle management of military acquisition programs. 2 years of supervisory/lead experience is required. Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems is desirable. Must have experience and knowledge sufficient to support senior Navy Leadership in facilitating sand developing command-wide strategic planning and Enterprise level vision documents, administering large organization executive board meetings, and developing command-wide documentation. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skill with strong attention to detail. Must have the ability to work with cross-functional groups, coordinated work activities at all levels, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build internal/external relationships. Ability to use Microsoft Office software and web-based applications such as those used in manufacturing operations. Valid U.S. Driver's License. Must possess a SECRET clearance or be able to obtain a SECRET Clearance. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
