Description As a Junior Systems Engineer, you will support engineering activities within NAVAIR's Airborne Strategic Command, Control and Communications Program Office (PMA-271). This is an incredible opportunity to gain technical, Navy acquisition experience. As the Junior Engineer you will be responsible for performing the following: Support government engineering duties in the acquisition of tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment. Assist in government activities pertaining to installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Assist the engineering development and acquisition of modern complex systems. Employ systems engineering methods and tools in the acquisition and development of advanced complex systems, and when appropriate, conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field. It is intended to describe the general nature of the position. Requirements Education and Experience Requirements A bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline is required
Engineering-related work or internship experience is a plus Who You Are: You are able to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers

Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. If no clearance is held, candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Position may require a Top Secret clearance in the future. Salary Range: The estimated salary range for this position will be $75,000 - $90,000 annually, based on an individual's level of experience and skill set.
