Position Summary FED95 is currently hiring for an experienced IT Operations and Sustainment Manager to fully support our Government client within a hybrid capacity in Patuxent River, MD. The IT Operations and Sustainment Manager will provide data transport management services for NAVAIR, track project deadlines, and ensure deliverables are met per project/client demands. Responsibilities:
Oversee data transport management services for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
Oversee the development and maintenance dashboards for mission partners.
Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings, customer/systems integration planning, requirements gathering discussions, and other Program/System events, as required.
Provide customer onboarding and data content management support.
Coordinate and schedule meetings with customers, as required.
Assist with the execution of customer requirements supporting sustainment activities.
Manage and track customer scope and requirement modifications. Assist with generating and providing feedback on program documentation (e.g. MOA, ISA, Terms and Conditions).
Generate weekly status reports, and review ROM estimates, as needed.
Review and provide feedback on CDRLs, as needed.
Review and dis/approve ECRs and ECPs, as needed.
Assist with planning and reviewing project schedules.
Assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned.
Generate and review trouble tickets and customer needs forms, as required.
Work closely with all IPTs and contractor support within the program to ensure project execution and assist in the resolution of issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or higher degree in an Information Technology or related discipline and at minimum, 5 years of relatable experience providing project management support including the tracking of project deadlines and following through with deliverables. ITIL certifications preferred but not required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Knowledge/understanding of one of these focus areas: Systems Integration, IT Operations/ Sustainment, IA compliance, Systems Administration, Cloud technologies, Change Management (ECRs and ECPs), Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Data Management, Data Handling, Project Management. Ability to quickly adapt focus, adjust schedule and problem solve to meet evolving work demands and needs of supervisor and other stakeholders. Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also work independently and balance multiple competing priorities and tasks. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and an extensive background investigation, including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.
