Job description

Duties You will conduct job and data analysis to advise management in determining best strategies for recruiting to achieve qualified, highly skilled workforce. You will assist in the review and recommendation of placement of qualified, highly skilled candidates for a range of administrative and technical positions to include high demand critical skills. You will assist with recruitment/placement for intern and career development programs. You will utilize various methods, automated tools for recruiting, i.e. TAP (Talent Acquisition Portal), Posting job announcements via social media platforms. Requirements Conditions of Employment Must be a US Citizen. Must be determined suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct deposit pay program. Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal. Qualifications DA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level DA-03 (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Apply Human Resources principles, concepts, and practices to provide in-depth guidance and advice to management on classification, staffing, recruitment, benefits, workforce shaping, employee and labor relations, compensation and performance management; 2) Utilize Human Resources Management laws and policies to solve complex Human Resources problems/issues and make recommendations; 3) Perform advanced technical work in various functional areas of Human Resources such as staffing, classification, recruitment, human resources processing and employee relations and development, benefits, compensation, workforce shaping and performance management; 4) Conduct qualification reviews to assist hiring managers with the demand to fill open positions; and 5) Function as a human resources liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure that program needs are achieved. DA-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level DA-02 (GS-7) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all the following duties: 1) Apply Human Resources principles, concepts, and practices to provide guidance and advice to management on classification, staffing, recruitment, benefits, workforce shaping, employee and labor relations, compensation and performance management; 2) Utilize Human Resources Management laws and policies to solve Human Resources problems/issues and make recommendations; 3) Perform technical work in various functional areas of Human Resources such as staffing, classification, recruitment, human resources processing and employee relations and development, benefits, compensation, workforce shaping and performance management; 4) Conduct qualification reviews to assist hiring managers with the demand to fill open positions; and 5) Function as a human resources liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure that program needs are achieved.
