(see onsite requirements below) On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training/tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. Essential Functions: Designs and implements computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning. Designs network and computer security measures. Researches and recommends network and data communications hardware and software. Other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications and Experience: Required: Experience providing computer network architecture required. At least three (3) years of experience performing work related to the essential functions. Security Clearance: Interim or Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc. Education: BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of: Cloud TIA Security+; CompTIA Cloud+; GICSP; SSCP; CCSP; CSSLP; CASP+; FITSP-D-NG; or GDSA required.
