Computer and Information System Analysts Junior, Journeyman, and Senior positions Location: Patuxent River, MD (Hybrid/Remote) Description: HigherEchelon is seeking motivated Computer and Information System Analysts to support The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Systems Engineering Department (SED) team in Patuxent River, MD. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: Collect information to analyze and evaluate. Perform logical and physical system design and reviews and prepares system documents and specifications. Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with system. Prepare reports, studies and documentation. Delivers presentations and participates in meetings. Work on special problem areas; administers complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning. Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques. Work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies. Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions. Required Skills: Must know system acquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test, and manufacture a major system Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques. Strong experience in a technical analysis, with mid-sized client-server systems, in systems analysis, software design, software development, and database administration Experience working independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies. Experience performing comprehensive analyses of hardware/software concepts, designs, and test requirements. Must be a US Citizen
Minimum of an active Secret Clearance is required.
Education: Jr: o Technical or Scientific AS or AA degree. o 0-3 years of experience Journeyman: o Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree. o 3-9 years of experience Sr: o Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree. o At least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience.
