Description

  • managing day-to-day on-site construction activities
  • ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • monitoring construction to ensure it adheres to plans
  • coordinating the subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • working closely with the project management team to develop and maintain construction schedules
  • monitoring project budgets and expenses
  • identifying and resolving issues

Profile

The Commercial Superintendent - $20M+ Projects - Maryland will be responsible for:

  • +/- 7-10 years of experience within commercial construction
  • General contracting background
  • Strong base building background is required. Projects must be in excess of $20M
  • Preferred project types include but are not limited to: K-12, higher education, senior living, multifamily, municipal, industrial, health care
  • Demonstrated skills in: managing site activity, labor relations, anticipating and resolving project issues, establishing and enforcing site schedule requirements, managing site safety and insurance risks, and subcontractor management
  • Strong tenure at current and previous employers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
