Title:
Senior FMS Aviation Logistics Planner Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR! KBR is seeking a Senior FMS Aviation Logistics Planner to join our team. As part of one of the world's largest independent logistics organizations supporting the US Government and commercial agencies, you will join a highly talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs. As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO), which is composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel, while supporting FMS logistics projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the senior aviation logistics planner with developing solutions to FMS logistics planning and execution issues in support of the government. Supports the Senior Aviation Logistics Planner on major projects, and as lead analyst on projects of a more routine nature on development, organization, and management of special projects at NAS Patuxent River, MD. Supporting PMA-299 for the establishment of multiple Maintenance, Repair, and Operations in India. Assess FMS customer's 12 IPS elements requirements and provide recommendations to be developing Price and Availability (P& A) data for FMS administration purposes. The contractor shall review FMS country requests for P&A data and recommend alternatives, with substantive data, to satisfy country inquiries. Analyze pre-case requirements and planning assessments based on Letter of Requests (LOR) from FMS programs. The contractor shall recommend Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning alternatives and courses of action that satisfy prospective customer's country requirements. Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), ILS reviews, meetings, conferences, briefings, training events and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS/OCONUS both in person and virtual to perform ILS analysis in support of specific FMS cases as required by each program office. Assist with the preparation of the briefing material, meeting minutes, and other administrative support. Identify and analyze the ILS issues discussed and recommend preferred courses of action to resolve problems identified at such events. Most work will be conducted on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, however, some domestic and international travel may be required in support of logistics activities. Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment. Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience: Master's degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10)+ years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.SUBSITITION: 10 years of work experience in a related field will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Citizenship & Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week Compensation: $102,190-153-340. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
