Job description

OPS Consulting is seeking a Build and Integration Engineer 2 to work in Laurel, MD. As a Build and Integration Engineer 3 at OPS Consulting you will be responsible for the operation, design, and integration of a broad range of systems and components. You will provide expertise on integrating sub-systems at scale, as well as interfaces with environmental systems, facilities, data systems, and security infrastructure. Required Experience: 5+ years of experience with complex electrical systems integration 5+ years of experience with facility-level electrical systems designed to meet highly custom/challenging requirements, such as: Complex scientific project power distribution and management HPC center electrical design and integration. Significant expertise in at least two of the following areas and familiarity with at least three additional areas: Facility AC power conditioning and monitoring Facility high-voltage power distribution and load balancing DC power conditioning, distribution Backup power generation Industrial control systems (SCADA) Advanced electrical fabrication and manufacturing processes High performance computing power requirements Digital communications (Ethernet, etc.) EMI (ESD, Magnetic Field) Safety and Hazard Analysis Maintainability Analysis Qualifications: A minimum of 7 years of experience A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, Physics or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
