JOB TITLE: CONTRACT UAS TECHNICIAN DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS REPORTS TO: FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER CLASSIFICATION: CONTRACT POSITIONS AVAILABLE 2 TRAVEL REQUIRED 100% OCONUS CLEARANCE TYPE SECRET Job Summary: Under Indirect Supervisionin an OCONUS environment, responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of allaircraftand related equipment.Responsible forMonitoring, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, mechanical, and integration of sensor systems per specifications and operational procedures within Client technical facilities. Duties/Responsibilities: Unmanned aviation ground handling
UAV Launch and recovery
Maintain and troubleshootaircraftsystems and subsystems
Perform maintenanceandrepairofaircraftstructures
Remedy emergency situations as they arise
Ensure standards are implementedand upheldin everyday activities
Maintain equipment used to supportaircraftmission efforts
Analyze and interpret equipment log reports
Diagnose and resolve operational problems
Perform other duties as are necessary and/orrequired BASIC REQUIREMENTSFOR A LEVEL II: Valid driver's license
2-5yearsofrelevant experience
Abilityto perform routine and preventative maintenance foraircraftsystems/subsystems, and ground support equipment
Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components
Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques
Familiar with military aviation operations
Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance
May berequiredto drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR A LEVEL III: Valid driver's license
5+ years of relevant experience
Ability to perform routine and preventative maintenance foraircraftsystems/subsystems, and ground support equipment
Experience diagnosing/troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology, and associated system components
Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques
Familiar with military aviation operations
Up to 100% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
Must have ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret level security clearance
May berequiredto drive a vehicle with a manual gearshift
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Military flight experience is highly desirable
Experience in deployed UAS ISR operations
Composite, structural, and mechanical repair experience
Ability to read electrical schematic and/or control diagrams, and read blueprints PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation, including, but not limited to, perceiving differences in wire cable colors,movingand/or lifting items such as ladders, tools, air tanks, test equipment and other objects weighing up to 100 pounds, working aloft; climbing ladders.
