My client is looking for a Superintendent to join their team based out of Frederick, MD. They are a family owned and operated general contractor specializing in government and federal projects ranging from $500k-$15M.

Their work spans new construction and renovation projects ranging from $500K to $15M+. With a growing team of 45 employees, they pride themselves on providing high-quality construction services and are expanding into self-performing electrical work. Description

My client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in Government projects.

  • Manage daily field operations to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain project schedules and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintaining detailed reports
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to address and resolve any issues promptly
  • Uphold a culture of teamwork and excellence on the job site

Profile

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
  • Experience with government projects
  • Proven track record of running jobs from cradle to grave
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
  • Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
