Job description

Cooper is a General Contractor that self-performs Construction Services work for clients (as a Prime or Subcontractor) who are primarily in the Federal Secure Market Space. In addition, the Company has in-depth expertise in SCIF construction, with in-house experts who can deliver turn-key SCIF solutions compliant with ICD-705 as well as TEMPEST. Cooper has built a national portfolio of clients we serve including:

- Select Large Primes We specialize in Interior Renovations as well as additions and have specialized experience in a number of areas including:
- SCIF Construction
- Operating in Occupied, Secure settings
- Operating on active Military bases nationally and internationally
- Multi-Phased, fast track projects
- Self Performance in a wide variety of scopes to ensure the highest quality and efficiency

1. Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
3. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues or risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
4. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders, and ensure all necessary approvals and permits are obtained.
5. Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to provide updates on project status, address concerns or issues, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
6. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and progress reviews to foster collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making among project team members.
7. Maintain a thorough understanding of government regulations, security protocols, and clearance requirements related to SCIF construction projects (including ICD-705 and TEMPEST requirements).
8. Uphold a strong commitment to quality, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of project management and construction operations. Qualifications:
1. Eligibility for Top Secret Security Clearance required. 2. Knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials, with a focus on security-sensitive environments.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
4. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
5. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
7. PMP certification or other relevant professional certifications preferred. Benefits:
