Client Details

As the Superintendent, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on-site for new construction projects. You will oversee everything from project initiation to completion, ensuring each project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Description

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labor, and materials while overseeing the quality of work on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, local building codes, and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor project progress, produce daily reports, and address any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to communicate project milestones, progress, and any adjustments.
• Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Maintain quality control and ensure all work meets the required specifications and standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other key project stakeholders.
• Supervise and lead on-site personnel, ensuring the team works efficiently and effectively toward project goals.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in new construction, preferably with a General Contractor.
• Strong background in managing large-scale commercial or residential construction projects.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and best practices.
• Proven experience in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
• OSHA certification and first aid training preferred.
