Apply in 60 seconds at Summary: SYSTOLIC is seeking a Principal Software Engineer proficient in C++, Python or GO as well as Kubernetes. You will join an team tasked with modernizing legacy capabilities onto a new microservice architecture using Kubernetes. Periodic telework is authorized as tasking allows. Qualifications & Compensation: Candidates must possess 20 years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Candidates who can demonstrate 24 years of related experience without a degree may also qualify. Candidates who meet the above qualifications will earn approximately $332,000/year. Description: Experience required to support container and container orchestration experience; High-speed networking and network protocol experience (preferred); Experience developing applications with python, C++, or GoLang; GitOps - agile Dev(Sec)Ops using Gitlab experience; API development experience such as gRPC, Corba, REST, etc; Linux / Unix experience; High-speed, distributed processing application development experience. Certified Kubernetes administrator (preferred). Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software. Debug existing software and correct defects. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
