Job Title: BD/Capture Manager Location(s): Columbia, MD (Corporate Office) Hours: Regular Full-Time Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 Clearance Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance JASINT Consulting and Technologies (JASINT) is searching for a Maryland IC Account Business Development (BD) Manager to support JASINT s Strategic Growth Team. The Maryland IC Account BD Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for building corporate relationships within the IC, creating a multi-year business development plan, identifying those opportunities, and seeing through to award. The IC BD Director will principally work with mission owners and program offices from the DoD IC and, as needed, other Department of Defense organizations such as Combatant Commands, Defense Agencies, other Services, and unique stakeholder organizations within the classified and unclassified DoD IC marketplace. The Maryland IC BD Manager will build and maintain relationships with IC organizations, supporting Systems Integrators (SIs,) and other capability providers, to position JASINT as a strategic partner and create a positive business environment. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Growth, the BD Manager will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and executing business opportunities that align to JASINT s growth goals. Specifically, the manager will continually and aggressively engage with customers, industry companies, and other stakeholders to understand mission needs and translate these needs into viable pipeline for the company to pursue. The manager will qualify opportunities, perform early capture activity to position our company, support proposals when needed, and establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The manager will lead pre-capture/capture activity to enable the JASINT proposal development team to deliver compliant and compelling proposals by translating their BD expertise and knowledge of the customer into proposal capture strategies that can be executed prior to proposal release to maximize positioning and Pwin. This is a hybrid position, and the candidate will need to live in vicinity of Columbia, MD Expect to spend 1-2 days in person at JASINT HQ (Columbia, MD) Expect to travel to customer sites to meet with customers Expect to meet with teammates and partners At times, during proposal development or strategic plan development, the in-person requirement may increase What You Will Do (Responsibilities): Business Development Understand the market Understand the top customer initiatives, programs, and capability gaps related to Systems Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, and related areas with a key focus on technologies/services in demand (Data Management, Cloud, AI/ML); know and have contacts within customer organizations, the partner ecosystem, and with key SIs; engage with mission owners, IT providers, acquisition officials and others during industry and customer-hosted events, meetings, experiments, and exercises. Lead BD for the IC market Understand the JASINT story, solutions, and technologies; engage & coordinate with the JASINT IC Portfolio; lead the IC Portfolio team in creation and execution of strategic account plans and customer-focused engagement plans; work with solutions architects to support the development of JASINT solutions that fill capability gaps; qualify opportunities, develop program bid strategies, and lead response to select Requests for Information or Proposals (RFI/RFP). Lead executive capture & technology relationships; must partner with JASINT technical SMEs and solution providers to formulate go-to-market solutions that will meet customer mission requirements; negotiate teaming arrangements, and lead JASINT contributions to partner responses to RFIs/RFPs. What You Will Bring (Basic Requirements): Must have experience with Maryland IC organizations and operational practices related to operations, intelligence, information technology, and innovation Must have proven experience with creating and maintaining relationships with MD IC and general IC. Successful, recent track record managing multiyear, multimillion-dollar IC business pipelines, including forecasting, proposal development, and winning contracts Successful track record of winning work within the target customer organization Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience with a proven track record of abilities. 8-10+ years experience as a business development manager or similar function in the Maryland IC market space Excellent critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills Ability to work to meet deadlines (nights, weekends, and holidays, at times) Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information Ability to travel at least 20+% or as needed Experience working within the customer set (e.g. military, government, contractor) that has resulted in a foundational understanding of customer mission, procurement habits, and business processes Existing understanding of Maryland IC customers and ability to build relationships with key decision makers within the customer Awareness of competitive landscape within customer to better understand competitors and vendors and facilitate partnerships when needed Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Business acumen related to opportunity pursuit Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to write Ability to present opportunities in a coherent way that promotes efficient decision making Strong attention to detail Experience supporting strategic planning Experience supporting capture and proposal Mentoring/coaching experience in pipeline development Education: Bachelor's degree in business or marketing. Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to move files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Why JASINT?
