Job description

My name is Kyran Chavez, and I'm a National Engineering Recruiter from Softworld Engineering. My client is seeking an Electronics Technician in Hunt Valley, MD with an active clearance requirement. The candidate should be comfortable with complex printed circuit board design, including micro-processors, high-efficiency power supplies, analog signal conditioning, sensors, and RF components. Experience in systems designed for ordnance initiation under strict safety protocols is preferred, and knowledge of FPGA design in VHDL or Verilog is a plus. This role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a secret-level security clearance. Responsibilities include: Senior Electrical Engineering Technician for production of new and legacy products.
Performing complex technical test functions, including set-up, operation, calibration, and testing of digital/analog/RF and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) systems.
Diagnosing and correcting system malfunctions.
Writing and interpreting design specifications for electronic systems and components.
Preparing reports, charts, and process documentation.
