Job Number: R Electronics Engineer and Technician
Key Role: Develops electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery. Supports other engineers to perform tasks when necessary. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive te chn ical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members. Basic Qualifications: Experience with electrical and electronic theory to design, build, repair, adjust, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls and machinery Experience overseeing the application of engineering te chn iques, principles, and precedents to develop, design, modify, install, test, evaluate, or operate electrical, electronic, avionics, mechanical, or communications data processing systems for DoD communication systems, public-safety radio systems, meshed radios, networks, and asso cia ted support equipment or components Knowledge of DoD communication systems or networks, including identified functions on Project-25 compatible public-safety radio communications sites and systems Ability to review, analyze, prepare, and apply engineering, te chn ical or maintenance specifications, policies , standards, or procedures Ability to obtain a TS / SCI clearance HS diploma or GED and 16+ years of experience as a radio frequency te chn i cia n, Asso cia te's degree and 14+ years of experience as a radio frequency, or Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience as a radio frequency te chn i cia n Additional Qualifications: Crestron Te chn i cia n Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
