Job description

Entry level opening with our client for an EHS Admin.

As an EHS Admin (Environmental, Health, and Safety Administrator), you will support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department in ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. You will assist in administrative tasks related to EHS programs and initiatives, helping to maintain documentation, coordinate training, and support compliance efforts.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in maintaining EHS documentation
  • Coordinate EHS training programs (scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and maintaining records.)
  • Support the implementation of safety initiatives and programs t
  • Assist in conducting safety inspections and audits
  • Assist in the development and dissemination of safety communications (newsletters, posters, and email updates)
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests related to EHS issues,
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for EHS meetings and management reviews.
Qualifications
  • Entry level to 1 year of experience in environmental health and safety or a related field
  • Certification or training in EHS-related topics preferred
  • Internship or coursework related to EHS or occupational health and safety preferred
  • Basic understanding of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
