We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of new construction and ground-up projects for a client in Baltimore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

As they continue to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent with a strong background in new construction and ground-up project management to join their team.

Description

  • Manage daily on-site activities, ensuring projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site workers.
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and construction drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and resolve issues.
  • Ensure project milestones are met and assist in the scheduling and coordination of materials and equipment deliveries.
  • Maintain project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
  • Address any unforeseen challenges or issues that arise during construction and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and organized job site.
  • Lead regular project meetings to track progress and discuss issues.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a strong focus on new construction and ground-up projects.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale commercial and/or residential construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and equipment.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • OSHA certification is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
