Annapolis Junction, MD - Salary Range 195k-225k (TS/SCI w/ Full Poly) Job Brief We have multiple openings for Senior Software Engineers in Annapolis Junction, MD - we are looking front end UI/UX designers and developers to join a highly skilled, large team that is focused on developing a range of apps for cyber security and analytics. A background in SIGINT is preferred. You will be involved in building and enhancing high-visibility, collaborative, feature-rich web application tools that are used in compelling national security related day-to-day mission. The work is focused on enabling data to be updated and shared in real-time by modernizing visualization and presentation tools to help drive more informed and timely decisions across the Intelligence Community Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: Review and analyze end-user requirements to establish software design and performance requirements
Engage with system engineers and hardware engineers to establish software requirements and to obtain information on
project limitations and capabilities
performance requirements and interfaces
Software Development: Design new code for software
Modify existing software code to add new features
Design, develop and enhance software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Algorithms: Develop or implement algorithms that comply with system performance and functional standards
Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints; Documentation: Review software and system documentation to further provide recommendations for improving existing documentation and software development process standards

Quality Control: Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software
Debug existing software to correct defects
Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas Requirements Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
15 years of related experience or a PhD with 15 years' related work experience or a Master degree with 18 years' related work experience Active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph Proficiency with: Git

Experience with SIGINT is preferred
Experience with consuming and writing web services
Experience assisting with development & execution of test procedures for software components
Experience in ensuring software development adheres to 508 Compliance standards for accessibility
Experience with generating & reviewing software/technical documentation
Experience working in an Agile software development environment
Experience using with Jira and Confluence
Ensuring quality control of all developed and modified software
