Job description

The System Engineer (SE) Skill Level 2 analyzes user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into on-going operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Description Responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks Responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and administering databases, including security, access, and documentation Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates, installs, and administers database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management Designs and implements databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, ETL tasks, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods May provide technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problem Required Qualifications: Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position. Bachelor's Degree + 14 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. OR 19 years and High School Diploma Candidate shall have appropriate certification in compliance with the requirements of the DoD 8570 Information Assurance Category IAT Level II.
