Duties and Responsibilities: The selected candidate will provide technical project management and system engineering support on a team supporting and developing an Electronic Records Management Services (RMS) for the enterprise. The application provides a modern, secure, leading-edge capability compliant with external regulatory guidance including electronic maintenance, storage, search, audit, reporting, retrieval, lockdown, and disposition of records, considered both permanent and temporary. The candidate must have experience providing technical project management to include customer engagement, performance oversight, schedule development, risk & dependency management and scope management. Candidate will work directly with Government Project Management and communicate with Freedom Program Management team on status and progress.
The candidate must have experience working on a software development team with diverse skillsets. This individual must be willing to tackle challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment. Primary responsibilities will be working with Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, facilitating agile processes, communicating with team members, the Government and end user customers. Required Experience: Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and/or Confluence Experience using COTS products or records management technology Experience with Scrum and Agile Methodologies accredited college or university and one (1) year of demonstrable experience is required. Four (4) years of additional technical experience on projects with similar hardware/software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TTOs, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in a technical field may substitute for two (2) years' experience. One (1) year of providing support in developing/engineering of complex software/hardware systems. Collaborate with other team members to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Provide input to system documentation, technical reports and provide routine status updates. The Associate Engineer supports the entire application life cycle focused on meeting government requirements.
Experience in either software development, system engineering, system administration to include installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance and testing of systems. Developing documentation required to support a program's technical issues and training situations. Understanding of agile development methodologies.
