This role focuses on developing and sustaining integrated, feature-rich capabilities that modernize visualization and presentation tools. If you're passionate about Java, Python, and tackling tough challenges, we want you on our team. WHAT YOU WILL DO Join a talented software team focused on mission-critical systems and applications. Here's what you'll be doing: Develop and sustain integrated software capabilities for visualization and presentation tools. Provide application development and support for tools enabling collaborative information viewing and contribution. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions using Java and Python. Utilize frameworks like Spring Boot and Flask to build robust applications. Implement unit and integration testing to ensure software quality. Manage source code using Git and work with IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse. Optimize performance and efficiency of software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or 8 years of software engineering experience. Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Strong software development skills with Java and Python. Experience with testing frameworks for unit and integration testing. Proficiency in using source code control tools like Git. Familiarity with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse. Knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot and Flask. Familiarity with Machine Learning, Stream and Batch processing, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/HCI, Kafka, Flink, MongoDB, ArangoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full SDLC experience, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance. Salary Range: $101,000 - $170,500 The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
