This position requires a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize critical databases for mission-essential operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the security, integrity, and high availability of our databases, working in a dynamic and challenging environment. Qualifications & Compensation: Candidates with 10+ years of experience and an Degree from an accredited university will receive approximately 216,000/year. Candidates with 14+ years of experience and no Degree will receive approximately 216,000/year. A degree in Computer Science or similar is required to satisfy the degree requirement. Candidates must have SQL Server, PostGres and Oracle experience. Job Description: Maintains the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s). Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data. Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database. Evaluates and recommends available database management system (DBMS) products. Performs database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements. Performs Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration.
