A CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE Clearance required: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Location: Annapolis Junction Salary: 94K-102K (The compensation of this position starts at the lower amount of the stated salary range while higher amounts may be achieved by the candidate accepting less PTO, waiving Healthcare, or both.) Job Description We are seeking a Junior Linux System Administrator to support the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Integration Team. This position will support all the cloud environments, both unclassified and classified that are part of the overall CI infrastructure footprint. Required Skills/Experience: Linux system administration and integration experience (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure); services provisioning, management of virtual services, familiarity with vendor Platform as a Service offerings System monitoring and maintenance to include service upgrades and security patching and IAVA management Troubleshooting of services (Tier 1/2 level) Configuration management support, familiarity with Puppet/SIMP, Ansible, Salt, Chef RPM development, deployment, and upgrade experience Familiarity with configuration and workflow tools such as GitLab, Jira Requirements A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience. OR A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area). OR A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience.
