Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and improve three critical Enterprise Support Services applications, ensuring their reliability and performance.
Leverage your experience with Classic ASP for server-side scripting and Oracle SQL for database management and queries.
Review and analyze requirements, then integrate them into the existing software and database architecture to meet evolving needs.
Perform necessary upgrades to applications and implement code enhancements to improve functionality and address any issues.
Identify, troubleshoot, and fix application bugs to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation.
Execute unit tests to verify that the developed software is reliable and functions correctly.
Use Git/GitLab for version control
Address and resolve customer requests and issues via support tickets to ensure customer satisfaction and timely problem resolution.
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills and a readiness to take on new challenges, contributing effectively to the team's success. Qualifications: Experience working with COTS and GOTS products to aid in installs, upgrades, and enhancements where integration may be required with authentication sources. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective integration and troubleshooting of web application
Understanding and implementing 508 compliance
Ability to conduct unit testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of developed software
Qualifications: Six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Proficiency in Classic ASP for developing, maintaining, and enhancing server-side applications
Skilled in Oracle SQL for database management, querying, and performing data analysis.
Familiarity with Git and GitLab for version control, code collaboration, and integration within CI/CD pipeline
Must be able to work during core hours of Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Quevera is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
