Overview Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Cyber Software Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally. Responsibilities Provides expertise and direction in the development and/or modification of computer-based scientific, technical, and business software systems. Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software. May work in one or several areas, such as equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis and modeling. Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives. Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases. Plans and schedules new applications systems projects with user, systems software, and computer center operations personnel, including the identification of objectives, time frames, costs, and manpower requirements. Performs tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques. Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety. Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation. May perform as a project lead with the responsibility for the instruction, assigning, direction, and monitoring of the performance of assigned systems developers / analyst working on a specific project. Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Qualifications Clearance Required: TS/SCI Degree and Years of Experience: 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD. Required Skills: Extensive experience in deploying and managing Tenable.sc and Nessus scanners in large-scale environments. Practical knowledge of troubleshooting and optimizing Tenable.sc solutions in diverse network architectures. Extensive experience in deploying and managing CyberArk solutions in large-scale environments. Practical knowledge of troubleshooting and optimizing CyberArk components in diverse network architectures. Utilizing Tenable.sc APIs to automate repetitive tasks, integrate with other security tools, and extract data for custom reporting. Writing scripts in Python, PowerShell, or other languages to interface with the API for tasks like automated scan initiation, data extraction, and remediation tracking Integrating Tenable.sc with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems like Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm for enhanced correlation and alerting. Setting up data connectors and custom parsers to ensure seamless data flow between Tenable.sc and other security tools. Proficiency in managing Linux/Unix systems, focusing on security configurations, process management, and network settings. Familiarity with common Linux commands and tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting. Writing scripts in PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate deployment, configuration, and management tasks. Developing custom automation workflows to streamline PAM processes. About Abile Group, Inc.
