Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Electrical Engineer to support our Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD location. PeopleTec, Inc., a rapidly growing employee-owned company is seeking a Software Electrical Engineer to support the Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. The Robotic Controller Integrator will ensure the HMIF common controller aligns with stakeholder requirements and has a smooth transition plan to onramp to a Program of Record office post prototype development. The Robotic Controller Integrator is responsible for: Successful Integration of HMIF Common Controller. Leading Controller Integration. Work/interface with and support DOTm LPF stakeholders across the HMI enterprise. HMIF Common Controller interface requirements development, design, transition plan stakeholder coordination. Advising, coordinating, scheduling, and remaining abreast of engineering and technical support activities applicable to the Common Controller sub-system development and capability integration. Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems. Participates in the development and execution of test strategies. Ascertains HMIF Common Controller Technology readiness Level. Participates in Common Controller budgetary discussions. Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams Ability to develop test plans and lead testing execution of HMIF Common Controller at system level as part of the HMIF systems of systems Application of DoD acquisition process, authoring DoD acquisition documentation including systems engineering plans, and Performance Based Specifications 10 plus years of hands-on experience applying integration principles across both hardware and software systems. Fewer years of experience will be considered based on complexity and success of the experience Requirements development and decomposition Past experience in user interface design, hardware and/or software. Engineering Integration of systems of systems, system and sub system level ICD and IOP development Testing Experience Experience in the skills and responsibility areas described above Travel: 5-10% Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Program Management related field of study from an accredited university Desired Skills : Familiarity with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes Superior writing skill inclusive of developing technical system-level specifications Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders Overview People First.
