Job Number: R Signal Processing Engineer, Senior
Key Role: Collaborate with a team of creative problem solvers to evaluate and modify Digital Signal Processing ( DSP ) hardware and sof tware to support military clients. C ond uct testing, analysis, and development efforts to perform signal analysis, compression, transformation, and analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. Support critical government research and development programs related to signals-based microelectronics design and verification. Provide te chn ical and programmatic advice and support services for a range of advanced systems, sensor, and computer processing te chn ologies and programs. Assist the government with te chn ical assessments, strategic planning, and engineering evaluations. Support the design, development, test, fielding, and sustainment of advanced signals-based microelectronics systems and asso cia ted t rus t and assurance programs. Leverage te chn ical expertise in the analysis and design of digital signal chains for critical te chn ologies for the DoD. Produce and present findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients, assist with te chn ical program management and program development, and brief materials for government research and development efforts. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in the electrical or computer engineering field 5+ years of experience with DSP development and research across multiple device families and platforms Experience with digital logic design performing RF signal sampling, collection, error correction, transmission, compression, and transformation Knowledge of multiple commer cia l and government signal types across the RF spectrum, including encryption and decryption, scrambling, and capture of signal data Ability to obtain a security clearance Bachelor's degree Additional Qualifications: Experience with Digital Signal Processing tools and te chn iques, including MATLAB Experience with benchtop test equipment, including Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, or Vector Signal Generators Experience with analyzing, refining, and executing test plans and procedures Experience with developing te chn ical documentation and reports Knowledge of Linux distributions, including Redhat, CentOS, and Kali Linux TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering preferred ; Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
